Cooking with Goldibox

Environment wellness is at the heart of Goldibox’s mission. Rather than individually package sauces and spices like most meal kits, Goldibox simply recommends that you always have the following pantry items on hand:

  • Herbs and Spices

    • Kosher salt (sea salt finishing flakes are also a must in my kitchen)

    • Fresh Peppercorns

    • Smoked Paprika

    • Turmeric

    • Coriander

    • Fresh herbs; rosemary, parsley, thyme, cilantro, mint (best when grown from seed near a sunny window)

  • Fats, Vinegar, Sauces

    • Salad Vinegar (I love Orange Muscat Champagne Vinegar and Balsamic Vinegar)

    • Extra Virgin Olive Oil or another salad oil you love

    • Extra Virgin Avocado Oil or another high heat cooking oil you love

    • Grass-fed Ghee or good butter, always clarify if cooking at above 350F

    • Coconut Aminos (similar to soy sauce but without the soy)

    • Hot Sauce

    • Tomato Paste

  • Sweets and Treats

    • Local Honey (this is a good source of sweetness if you eat sugar)

    • Stevia is another natural source of sweetness that’s free of sugar

    • Licorice Root Tea, a perfect end to a long day is with a cup of organic licorice root tea. It’s naturally sweet, anti-inflammatory and soothes the stomach. And it doesn’t taste anything like licorice candy.

    • Peppermint Tea. Also great for upset stomachs and complements licorice root tea nicely.
